Community Service
Giving back and helping others is an important part of what Positive Minds Bookclub is all about. For the upcoming 2009 year, we are practically doing a different commmunity service for each month. For the month of Feburary, we are donating sleepwear to a local battered women's shelter for both women and children. We are also in the planning stages of sponsoring a young high school lady for her prom during prom season. We are preparing to fully prepare her with her dress-shoes-jewlery-purse-hair-make-up-maincure/pedicure for her big day. We are currently looking at 3 deserving young ladies and trying to narrow it down to 1. We will keep you all posted on our upcoming monthly community services.
